Muay Thai, pronounced (muait tai), is more commonly known as Thai boxing. Muay Thai has a long history in Thailand and is the country’s national sport. Muay Thai is referred to as the “Science of Eight Limbs”, as the hands, shins, elbows and knees are used extensively in this art. A dedicated Muay Thai practitioner develops the ability to execute strikes using eight points of contact.

Muay Thai is a perfect fit for those interested in learning to develop their striking skills.  Muay Thai training allows fighters  and practitioners to gain experience in Western boxing, using kicking, elbows, feet and knees as well as developing a strong foundation.

Physical conditioning is strongly emphasized at Aiki Muay Thai Training Camp, utilizing focus mitts and Thai mitt training for the development of hand and eye coordination, training to develop power, cardiovascular endurance, and timing.

The Aiki Muay Thai Training Camp provides a comfortable environment in which one can go at his/her own pace. Whatever your age or reason for study, with consistent training a student will transform his/her physical and mental abilities along with self-confidence.

New enrollment is always welcomed. Students at the camp range from the beginner to the advanced martial artist. We encourage all to stop by and visit.
